Pray for your leaders don’t complain

There is a question that is asked to me many times about our what I think of Barack Obama. I will say this that as a christian we are instructed to pray for our kings and leaders. 1 Timothy 2:1-2  I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— ² for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ³ This is good, and pleases God our Savior” I think that if we read this verse what does it say for Kings and all those in Authority. Something that hurts me is when people attack somebody in leadership like that and complain and say he is such a loser. To me that is not what Jesus went to the cross for. It went so that we can be forgiven. So my challenge to anyone right now is to really pray for this man in office. you might not agree with everything but you can pray that he will change. That is more powerful than saying he is a bad person and a loser. Cause he is not he loves his family very much and even as the president he takes his wife out on dates. That is something that America needs a good Marriage of loving people. So pray for him do not criticize remember what Christ did for you. Here is another verse for someone to read James 4:11 “  ¹¹ Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. ¹² There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor? ” This all might be hard but I love people and I do not want to judge them. I do not want to disobey my lord and savior Jesus Christ and it say in bold up there. So speak good into the man in office and pray for him. This speaks of Christ better than slander. Be different and show love and compassion and remember this verse also do not judge and you will not be judged.

Matthew 7:1-2 “7     “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. ² For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” I think that this speaks for itself.

The new life!

I was reading this moring ins Colossians 3:3-4 where is says “for you died to this life and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ who is your life is revealed to the whole world you will share in all his glory.”
How exciting that we get to share in his glory. I am excited for that day when we can share in Gods glory in life. Some day we will recieve a new body and what a great day that will be. As we are here on this earth now don’t lose sight of your goal living a new life in Christ. Let God refresh you every moring.

Thoughts

Today as I woke up and thought about life in general. I was thinking of my amazing wife. God has brought her through so much. We battle this world and the troubles that happen in life. My wife is dealing with some health issues. I would have to say at times I am scared but, when I look at Jesus I realize that he is still in control. This is not just a religious answer but a truthful one that He will take care of me. That is where I have to put my trust in. Trust in Jesus and he will take you to place unheard of.

You are a child

Romans 8:15-1715 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship.g And by him we cry, “Abba,h Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

You are a Child of God. sometimes we wonder if we are his children. I struggled with this for years but now I know that I am a child of God. He is an amazing God and I am so thankful to have him in my life. Knowing that I have a father up in heaven that will never leave me is a great assurance. Sometimes it is hard to think that this is true. In my years of serving the more I follow him the more I love what he has done for me. Know that you are a Child of God. Read John 1:12

playing a game

last night i played a game with some friends. I played softball and this sport is hard for me at times. I pitched at a high level so playing softball was hard. but i realized last night it is good to play a game. Enjoy the game of life everyday. it is easy to get down but life is more fun when you enjoy it.

Finishing Strong

I am finishing up my school right now. There are days that i really want to just quit but I know that I can make it through Jesus Christ. Phillipians 4:13. Remember it is not how fast you start but how strong you finish. Keep stong in Jesus and you will make it.

completing dreams

Dreams happen in life when you let God take it that is when you will see you life come together. Trust in God and he will supply you needs and will always come though

Living this life now

When I woke up this moring I was thinking about this life i now live. I want to live it to my fullest and waist time that I do have here on earth. I like that song that Tim Mcgraw sings live like you were dying. I like to live like you are living now. do what God has asked of you. yea it is hard at times. I have been going through the Love Dare great book, i am realizing things about me that need to be fixed so that I can be a better husband and friend to my wife. I look forward to our days together and where we are. we have come a long way together and I love it. Well today live you life to the fullest. Read the Bible and get encouraged and get changed and transformed so that you can have a great life now.

Joy is contagious

this is something that I think that we can forget a lot of the time. Around this time of the year many people have joy flowing all over them. It makes us feel good and also give us a good feeling all over. lets look at the bible whitch i bealieve is a book of Joy. What Joy it is when we hear of Jesus being born. So today consider this bring Joy to this world just like when a baby is born it is Joy. Even though there is a lot of pain they joy is amazing after it. So look at life in a different way look at what you have been given in you life. Bring some Joy to the world.

thankgiving

it is that day we are going to the parade today in downtown Chicago. I am so excited to do this with the family. We stayed at the hyat last night in a really nice room. We have the club membership how awsome. Feels like big time it is just good to be with the family. Well I am getting coffee for the wife. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
